Signing in

Google or GitHub provides an account identifier, email address and verification status, profile name, and profile image when available. Raispace stores these with login sessions and provider tokens to identify your account, keep you signed in, and protect access to your comments. Session records can include your IP address and browser information. Raispace does not receive your Google or GitHub password.

Provider information is used for sign-in and account security. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Google sign-in does not request access to your Gmail, Drive files, or contacts.

Comments and passage replies

Raispace stores your submitted text, chosen public name, timestamps, and the post or passage you reply to. Passage replies include the quote and nearby text needed to find it again. The owner can review pending comments and keep private moderation notes. Approved comments, names, quotes, and dates are public and can appear in a downloadable public archive. Provider profiles, emails, and account IDs are not included with public comments.

You can edit a pending comment or remove your own comment. Removal clears its live text and public name and hides its replies from public view. Earlier copies can remain in backups, search indexes, or archives outside this site’s control.

Cookies, browser storage, and spam checks

Login cookies keep your session active. Browser storage remembers your theme and text-display preferences. Unfinished comments and selected passages can be saved in your current tab’s session storage so a sign-in trip does not lose them. Clearing site data removes these local preferences and drafts and can sign you out.

Cloudflare hosts the site and database and provides Turnstile spam checks, which process network and browser signals. Comment rate limits use your account ID and a daily keyed hash of your IP address. These rate-limit records are cleared when a later submission finds them more than 48 hours old; they can remain longer while the site is idle.

Services, retention, and your choices

Cloudflare processes information needed to deliver and secure the site. Your selected login provider handles authentication. Some pages load fonts, scripts, images, or embedded content from other services, which receive the requests needed to serve that content. Their own privacy policies also apply: Cloudflare, Google, and GitHub.

Account records, comments, and moderation records have no automatic deletion schedule. Private backups can contain earlier versions. To request an account deletion, removal of remaining personal information, or a copy of your data, email the address above. The owner may need to verify that the account is yours. Revoking access in Google or GitHub prevents continued provider access but does not itself delete records already stored by Raispace.
